The cutest Art Toys! Both adorable and eco-friendly.
Nowadays, many people probably know “Art Toy” which is popular at the moment with cute and unique characters designed by artists, sculptors or designers. But recently, there is an Art Toy that is both cute and environmentally friendly, which is “Grom” Art Toy.
“Grom” is an Art Toy with a distinctive character. I have the appearance of an octopus’s tentacles, a little boy who protects the sea, growing up with the Moken people. And what’s more impressive than its cuteness is that “Grom” is made from marine waste. The creative team is Jint Sthapornsathitsuk from Reborn Studio and Ekanarin Yotipai from Sunova Surfboards.
The inspiration for creating “Grom” is the waves of the Andaman Sea and the problem of garbage reflected through the art toy. The proportion of plastic used to make the Art Toy is 30-60%, depending on the piece produced. In the future, this marine garbage may be recycled to reach 100% as hoped. The plastic used in the production of “Grom” comes from garbage on the beach or garbage floating in the ocean.
“Grom” is not just a cute Art Toy that we buy to collect, but it is also an Art Toy that helps extend the life of our marine ecosystem. Now, “Grom” has many forms to choose from. If anyone is interested, you can contact the Grom.arttoy page.
