Let’s take a look at eco-friendly Christmas trees to celebrate the Christmas season!

Christmas is almost here, and many places around the country are starting to decorate their places in a Christmas theme to match the atmosphere. One of the important symbols is the “Christmas tree”. However, the old Christmas tree is now commonplace. Today, we will take you to see the eco-friendly Christmas tree in 2024 for the special festival.

The environmental trend in 2024 is quite strong. We can see it from the increasing number of products from many businesses. This makes this Christmas season we have eco-friendly “Christmas trees” for many people to see. In addition to saving the world, it also shows creativity in making Christmas trees.

Yologreennews will take you to see two eco-friendly Christmas trees located in the heart of Bangkok, which will be on display until 2025. Let’s see what materials these two trees are made from.

Eco-friendly Christmas tree “Sustainable Living X’mas Tree 2024”

This Christmas tree was first introduced at the “Sustainable Living X’mas Tree 2024” event at Siam Discovery, organized to reaffirm its position as “The Biggest Arena of Lifestyle Experiments” in collaboration with Kasikornbank and PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), along with Epson (Thailand) Co., Ltd. The event also introduced an 8-meter-tall Christmas tree, which will be on display until January 5, 2025. What makes this tree special is that it is made from Upcycled fabric by GC.

Upcycling fabric by GC is made from used PET bottles. The fabric is over 270 meters long and is designed, printed, and painted by Epson Thailand. The production process at this stage is produced according to environmental standards and does not contain any harmful chemicals that are harmful to humans.

If anyone is interested in visiting this Christmas tree, you can visit it at Siam Discovery until January 5, 2022.

Relocal Christmas Tree

The “Relocal Christmas Tree” is a Christmas tree that King Power has collaborated with Thai designer “Saran Yenpanya” to create for us to see. This Christmas tree is made from over 25,000 pieces of Thai woven products, including woven flower fans, which are the highlight of this Christmas tree, bamboo winnowing baskets, and bamboo baskets. These products come from 100% Thai handicraft communities in Ayutthaya, Chonburi, Ubon Ratchathani, and Chiang Mai. In addition to getting materials to make this beautiful Christmas tree, it also helps support merchants in each region.

This Christmas tree is 7 meters high and is located on Soi Rang Nam, making it the largest Christmas tree in Thailand this year.

“Saran Yenpanya,” the designer who designed this piece, revealed that this Christmas tree perfectly reflects the unique style that this designer calls “OTOP Hybrid.”

In addition to being beautiful, after this year’s Christmas season is over, the materials from the Christmas tree can be reused and not left uselessly.

If anyone is interested in visiting this Christmas tree, you can visit it at King Power, Rang Nam Road branch. You can visit it until December 31, 2024.

Both of these Christmas trees are beautiful, have unique creative ideas, and most importantly, are environmentally friendly. If anyone travels to Bangkok or wants to go on a vacation, we recommend that you try to visit these two Christmas trees at least once to keep as a souvenir for a good memory during the Christmas festival.
