- Detoxifies the body: Eating vegetarian usually involves consuming a large amount of fruits and vegetables, which aids digestion and provides fiber that helps the digestive and excretory systems work effectively. As a result, toxins in the body are expelled.
- Improves skin health: The vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in fruits and vegetables make your skin glow and look fresh as you consume more.
- Helps with weight loss when chosen appropriately: While vegetarian food includes vegetables, fruits, and grains, it also contains starches and oils used in frying or stir-frying. To lose weight, it’s best to choose steamed, boiled, or simmered food over fried or stir-fried foods, reduce sugar intake, exercise regularly, drink no more than 2-3 soy milk boxes per day, and opt for unrefined grains and leafy vegetables.
