At 7:24 a.m. on September 24, 2025, a major road collapse occurred on Samsen Road, forcing the closure of traffic from Vajira Hospital Intersection to Sanghi Intersection.
The collapse has created a massive sinkhole measuring approximately 30 x 30 meters wide and 50 meters deep, with the ground continuing to sink further. The affected area extends across the front of Vajira Hospital and the Samsen Police Station.
Authorities are currently working to evacuate patients from the hospital as a precaution. Fortunately, there have been no injuries reported so far.
