Let’s make a wish! The Quadrantids meteor shower will fall tonight.
On January 2, 2025, the National Astronomical Research Institute stated that after midnight on January 3 – the morning of January 4, 2025, there will be a “Quadrantids meteor shower” to welcome the new year.
This year, it is expected that the maximum rate of falling will be 80 per hour. It can be observed in the northeast direction and must be free from moonlight to be suitable for observation with the naked eye. It can be observed all over the country (recommended to be observed in a completely dark area).
Ancient beliefs about “meteor showers” are believed to be a sign of gods or angels coming down to earth to bestow blessings. People who see them often pray for various blessings according to their own wishes.
But besides belief, the beauty of the meteor shower also makes people want to see it and record images as well. If anyone is interested, you can watch the “Quadrantids Meteor Shower” on the night of January 3 to the morning of January 4, 2025. Come see the beauty and ask for blessings from the meteor shower to start a good year in 2025.
