Bangkok has welcomed its first EV Taxi Boats, designed and built by Thai company TTA Mariner Co., Ltd. (TMC). Powered by 100% clean energy and made from recycled materials, these boats aim to reduce air, water, and noise pollution in a sustainable way.

- Capacity: Up to 8 passengers per trip
- Fares: Starting at 60 THB
- Services: Available as both taxi rides and small private tours
- Future plans: Ride-hailing via app for added convenience
Routes and Service Hours
The first route runs from Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem to Khlong Bang Lamphu, with future expansions planned for Khlong Ong Ang and Khlong Saen Saep.
- Operating daily from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
This marks a new milestone in Bangkok’s water transport, blending modern urban mobility with Thailand’s creative drive toward sustainability.
